Wishes, Hopes, Dreams, Inspiration and Belief

When first looking at Susan Boyle come onto the stage, I had the same thought that the audience had. This was going to be bad and when she said she wanted to be like ‘Elaine Page’, I thought, “ NO WAY!” Also many people including me where judging her by her age, when she said ‘I am 48” I was like. “…” The whole audience made an assumption that she wouldn’t have enough talent to come through with the song. All of the audience, judges and even me where like this isn’t going to sound great because we where judging her before she started to sing. Slowly all of the audience started to appreciate her voice, most of them even stood up. This is probably because she had an amazing talent too sing, there was a major long note where she changed her pitch slowly higher and lower and this astonished me that she had that much of a ‘Note range’. People judged her for what she looked like and did not have the patients inside themselves to believe in her, at all. All of these actions link to the quote “Never judge a book by its cover” The outside’ of a person may look bad but that doesn’t mean they have no talent or they are worthless. These people are all chasing ‘Their dreams” and they could have a normal job live a normal life but once they do this they either will be humiliated or respected and people don’t care what these people feel like they will laugh when they want and scream and shout when they want also, but many of these people ‘including us sometimes’ don’t understand how much guts it takes to get onto a stage no matter where you are and perform a show in front of the whole world. Many people love to watch people fail ‘and like to laugh’ “This is including me at times” we will all watch these people do things that they have rehearsed for, for so long and if they are bad we will just laugh but when they are good we slowly learn to appreciate, their talent. This leads to my question “Why can’t people appreciate all talents no mater how good they are? Bad or good they are getting a chance to improve their life and they commit to it.” Everyone that has a dream and believe in it and strive to achieve can eventually accomplish that dream. No mater how old or what they look like they can accomplish it. Dreams are strong and are what keep you striving for success in your life. Everything you do is either progressing you toward your dream or gaining your confidence in some way to help you achieve it.
No matter what people look like or how old they are they will have a talent that is unique, which will help them succeed in life. One way or another people who strive for their goals will accomplish them, no mater what you look like or your age is you have a dream that one day you will accomplish.
